John Lind Aloha ʻĀina Scholarship Fund

John Lind, a proud alumni of Hāna School, is remembered for his deep commitment to his community, culture, and the values of aloha ʻāina that shaped his life. The purpose of this scholarship is to support graduating seniors of Hāna High & Elementary School in pursuing a path rooted in service, culture, and aloha ʻāina.

It is with great pride that Kīpahulu ʻOhana announces the recipients of the 2026 John Lind Aloha ʻĀina Scholarship: Braizlin Au-Hoon and Kalaʻe Tolentino, graduating seniors of Hāna High & Elementary School.

Braizlin and Kalaʻe have demonstrated strong commitment to their education, community, culture, and the values of aloha ʻāina. These young wahine exemplify the spirit of aloha, kuleana, and mālama that Uncle John Lind carried throughout his life.

On behalf of Kīpahulu ʻOhana, we extend our heartfelt hoʻomaikaʻi to Braizlin, Kalaʻe, and their ʻohana. We are honored to support them as they continue their educational journeys and begin this next chapter of growth, learning, and service.

We also extend our sincere mahalo to all who applied for the 2026 John Lind Aloha ʻĀina Scholarship. We deeply appreciate the effort, thoughtfulness, and passion shared through each application. Reading about your accomplishments, goals, and commitment to your families and communities was both inspiring and uplifting.
