Kīpahulu ‘Ohana is
seeking Artists & Creatives
We are looking for an artist to help create original artwork that reflects the spirit of Kīpahulu, mālama ʻāina, ʻāina momona, and ʻike Hawaiʻi.
This is a paid, contracted collaboration, and we welcome East Maui artists who are interested in working alongside our team to develop artwork that is culturally grounded and connected to the purpose of our mission.
If selected, the artwork may be incorporated into educational materials. We are also seeking original Makahiki-inspired artwork and designs that may be featured on participant and volunteer apparel, promotional materials, event signage, and educational resources.
Opportunities
Marine management, shoreline projects, and monitoring throughout Kipahulu Moku Community-Based Subsistence Fishing Area.
East Maui Artist or Creatives Opportunity
ʻĀina Education Days at Kapahu Living Farm are hands-on learning experiences where participants work alongside Kipahulu ʻOhana staff to mālama ʻāina.

John Lind Aloha ʻĀina Scholarship
We are honored to announce the opening of the John Lind Aloha ʻĀina Scholarship, uplifting the legacy of Uncle John and supporting East Maui’s next generation of leaders rooted in culture, service, and aloha ʻāina.
. The purpose of this scholarship is to support graduating seniors of Hāna High & Elementary School in pursuing higher education or career training that continues a path of service, culture, and aloha ʻāina.
